Gemma is the lead interior / exterior designer on this project, with some input from mom and dad. Gemma was very clear about her color combinations. She chose a light teal for the exterior with a white for window frames and a very interesting red for certain design elements. I have to say i love her color choice since we own a 1955 Chevy Bel Air that is turquoise. I created a blog to follow its restoration click here 55belair.blogspot.com
I also picked up a finished piece of 3/4 plywood, 2 feet by 4 feet, to mount the dollhouse. This base will become the yard once we finish, a local sign shop routered the edges. I also installed a lazy Susan under the base so Gemma can spin it around.
